Description
This is the story of a boy named Amrit, and a dog, named Sahara, and how he and his friends started a movement of compassion, that would spread through the city of Bhaktapur, that would change the lives of the city’s dogs forever.
I would like to express my best wishes to Julu and Everest English School for taking on a social responsibility by writing a book about Sahara to raise awareness in the community. I sincerely hope you continue to be inspired to undertake such initiatives. Bhaktapur Municipality pledges to provide any possible support from our side. Thank you!

Dogs, like humans, are social creatures. They thrive on the love and care they receive from people. However, stray dogs, often neglected in our community, are actually guardians of human society and community security. Despite being so helpful and useful, these dogs, labeled as ‘strays,’ need to be rescued and protected from their dire conditions. This publication, ‘Sahara,’ will be instrmental in spreading awareness about our duty to protect these dogs. Finally, I extend my heartfelt best wishes for the success of this work.
