Description
The contributors analyze temple yards, caitas, bahas, bahis, ghats and darbar areas among other public spaces of the Kathmandu Valley. They share an important message that at present Nepal’s developmental context, these spaces can become guidelines to urban planners, policy makers and common people. The anthology shares the message with the readers that much depends on the force that can mobilize resources to reproduce such spaces to meet the demand of changing urban landscape and demography of the capital Valley.
